Re: An Answer Place For Dumba** Locked Threads

This is one very busy site. We don't read every thread, let alone every post made. There is too much traffic for that. Things slip past us. That is why we have the "report post" button.

If you know something is inappropriate, report it. I didn't feel defensive when I posted earlier, I was just pointing out that there are options available to all of us. We can participate and make this place into something we all enjoy and use as professionals or we can take our ball and go elsewhere.

Supporting the site, in my mind at least, means supporting its values and ideals. When you do that, you make this place better. Jumping on the bandwagon and slinging mud at a newb or a homeowner isn't making this place better.

Offering to help them in the appropriate forum is.

Seems reasonable to me.

Not sure what you mean...I worked for beer today and am now enjoying the fruits of my labor.

My comment was more about the guy spending hours in one brief and lucid momment writing down the cure for cancer, menopause, and alcoholism and not being able to share it with the world(internet).
It would make a good twilight zone

Never let anyone tell you that Monkey Sue Richards isn't a nice name.

I was replying to that thread also when it was shut down Beer. I guess we just have a way with words. Those kind of posts are generally the most fun. Who cares if it goes nowhere. As long as nobody gets their feelings permanently hurt, wheres the harm?

Re: An Answer Place For Dumba** Locked Threads

I gave up replying to idiots. I just report those posts everytime I see them now. Sorry but that was one of them I reported. I'm not trying to take credit for getting it shut down because I'm sure I'm not the only one doing it, I'm just saying if everyone starts reporting that crap there will be a lot less of it for us to deal with.
