Its like the 6th time Nathan has locked a thread while I was typing a serious reply . Maybe this belongs in the basement. I had that excellent last reply and got hit with thread closed

Quote: To those who think I am trying to take their work..or that I do not know anything...wrong! Been doing this waaaayyyy to long. Just trying to be helpful, and trying to see what the different area markets can bear. Been in business since 1986, built about everything from a simple porch to 2.5 mill.house, which I finished last June...so...try and be a little more professional than that.
I'll go first: 86, no kidding? Well you wandered into a bunch of non-professionals. We here at CT build stuff up to the 1K level. We're not really professionals, the main push of this site is to provide solid pricing options up to 1k. Sorry, youre way out of our league. We have an ongoing effort to raise the professionalism however. Please post again under another fake entity.

I'm not complaining really, just saying... A place to post after Nathan has shut it down. Some of these threads are goldmines.

I quit trying to rationalize the mod think tank. Threads that should be in Off Topic stay running in general discussion FOR EVER and other threads just disappear or get locked.
One thread I found intriguing was the lady who "posted for her husband" who I think had a family member die. I as others trusted that to be true but BOY HOWDIE if the poster found a way around the sharks with a made up story.
It's the mods show and we are just guests here with numbers to add to the masses.

Then report those posts or...
If that's the way you feel, then perhaps a little bit of advice I got as a young man might help.
"Teenagers! Tired of being told what to do and when do to it? Don't put up with it! Move out, get a job, and earn you own money! But hurry, while you still know everything."
You don't like it, start your own website. And just to be clear, its Nathan's show. We're just here to see that folks follow the rules.

I thought it understand I know it's Ya'lls show to run with and for Nathan.
I said I quit trying to understand "the why".
I don't report posts as I figure if ya'll don't like them or like them ya'll will do with them as you want.
As I said we are guests here.
It's NOT our site it's Nathans. I try to follow the rules that were layed out.
I wasn't trying to be disrespectful. Sorry if you took it that way.

Wasn't tying to imply otherwise. Would be interesting if they had a "trash bin" of sorts though.
As is they have enough on their plate trying to watch what they have going though and with NO hazard pay!

Hey the "trash bin" sound like good title for this sub forum, I can imagine what the welcoming header to this new sub-forum will read: "welcome to the TRASH BIN, if your hack or a wannaby DIY and can't price a job for worth a d@mn post you bu!!sh!t questions here."
