Re: Another Motorcycle Question?

I would love to own it if I didn't have to pay for it.

Re: Another Motorcycle Question?

Set my wife on one at the Washington Intl. Show last year. She said the bar in front of the saddle bags caught her in the middle of her calf. She is rather short, 5'3" so that may be a factor. Other than that and the price, a rather nice bike.
Personally I like the BMW K1200LT, and my wife likes the Goldwing so guess which one we will probably get.
Currently ride a KZ1100 with full original Vetter equip. Just got back from a 1100 mile trip.

A good friend of mine has a '00 Kawasaki Concourse and he loves it. Not as cool as a Harley though.

I would recommend a Honda Goldwing instead.

If it falls over and you can't pick it up, it's not your ride.

Is that a Heritage Softtail?

Here in Milwaukee those things are a dime a dozen, especially in the suburbs. You cannot drive a mile in this city without seeing ten of them. I'm not even exagerating... and I'm just talking about the ones that are owned by private citizens. The police here drive them too.

So, I'm pretty sick of them...

Nope, sorry, it's an Electra Glide.

Re: Another Motorcycle Question?

I hope you're not buying new! Really, aren't their a lot of used Harley's on the market. It might be tough to unload it down the road.

Anyhow, just buy something! It's been a year since you started looking, ****, get one of those pocket bikes for $750. Like this:
