Animal Lovers - Please Click Here

Hi, all you animal lovers.
The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.

It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "feed an animal in need" for free. It's in a purple box in the middle of the page. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

There's my good deed for the day. Is there a site that gives free food to starving humans too?
Cole, how did you stumble onto that site?

One stop site does all. Click on the buttons at the top and give to children, horses, breast cancer, hunger, literacy and the rainforest to name a few.

Do they have a mailing address where you can just send .22 cartridges? They're pretty cheap.

Re: Animal Lovers - Please Click Here

OK, I'm an animal lover. I have a really cool dog that we rescued from a rescue group. But, I'm not an animal fanatic. I don't get misty when I see the commercials on TV for animal in shelter. I just think, too bad for the people who didn't care enough about their pet to do something.

So, here is my rant for the day. I saw a commercial for an animal rescue group asking for money to donate to feed the animals. They said, 'for only .60 cents a day you can feed X number of animals'... Then I remembered the commercials that show the emaciated kids in Africa and other parts of the world, and they say that for only .50 cents a day you can feed a village of people... So why is it more expensive to feed animals???

Here's an idea.. take all those animals and set up a day care for battered and abused children where they can visit and play with the animals. They'd probably get more funding for that than an animal shelter where they are all in cages!!!

Just a thought...

And before someone says, send the animals to Africa so they can eat them, I already thought of that.. but that might be a bit extreme, plus the shipping costs would make it cost prohibitive.... Just kidding.
(no hate mail please) btw, I clicked on both human and animal links. Thanks for the human link BigChaz.

Re: Animal Lovers - Please Click Here

I just realized that the animal site is the same as the human site.. it also has Child Health care, literacy, breast cancer and rainforest.
I clicked on all except the rain forest. I think the rain forest already receives too much attention... just my opinion.

Glad you were joking.......you avoided being on my "special list". I'm not an animal fanatic either. I have two dogs that I got from rescue sites (a pug and a boston terrier) that had been treated pretty badly. It has been a long process to get them healed and looking normal. I kinda like the idea about the kids and animals.

As for feeding the people with animals, I had just the opposite idea but, the UN would never go for it. And the dogs maybe exposed to Aids and other bad things from the meat. So much for that.

I may sound harsh but, I would never click on the human site, for too many reasons to list (corruption and politics).
I have seen what they feed people with in Africa, or should I say what food is sent and how much gets stolen by gov. backed gorillias and how much the commoners actually recieve.
