Amazing Story!

The 'breaking news' today in StL has been amazing. A 13 yr old boy goes missing Monday after getting off his school bus in rural Mo, about 60-70 miles out of StL. They found him today in an apartment in the southwest suburbs of StL. The amazing part is in the same apartment, they found a boy who had been missing since '02. The second kid was 11 when kidnapped, and is around 15 now. How often do these missing kids turn up alive? Sad to say, hardly ever. Check the link for the story.

I can only imagine what the creep's intentions were or what he did with them....but, one way or the other, he will get his deserved justice.

All over the news here. The general consensus was to lock him in a room with all 4 parents and let "nature take it's course", save us alot of court/appeal/prison..time/money

When I was done I'd give him to Murph or Jim.they could then do whatever they wanted with the body.

Re: Amazing Story!

i'm waiting for the "paul harvey factor"....you know, the rest of the story. those boys must have been restrained, but in an apt. complex? i would think a 13 and 15 yr old boy at some time or another would have been able to escape? don't get me wrong, that dude's a scumbag, but things don't quite "add" up here?

Re: Amazing Story!

Dayexco, it is a very bizarre story. When the FBI showed up the night before, (looking for the recent missing boy), they saw the 15 yr old. He claimed he was Shawn Devlin, and the man was his dad. The guy wouldn't let them in without a warrant, so it stopped there. The next day, when they went in with the warrant, the boy said, I'm Shawn Hornbeck.

A real spooky tidbit, the Hornbeck family had started the Shawn Hornbeck Foundation, to help other families with missing children. (be aware, that link won't work now as the server has been flooded with hits) but, there was a message board/blog set up on the site. Sometime in '05, someone named "Shawn Devlin" posted:

How long will you be looking for your son?

At this point, no one is sure if the missing kid posted that, or the abductor. It still sends chills up my spine thinking about it. I just pray for a full re-entry into the real world for the boy.

Re: Amazing Story!

well as for punishment? how bout this....

back in my little home town, there is a pulp mill and part of that mill there is a wood manufacturing plant- complete with a chipper. Now this chipper is about 8 feet around, and spins very fast- it chips up logs... takes about 40 minutes to stop... waaaay back when they wanted an extra coffee break, or they were mad at the boss someone would toss a peavy down the chipper- steel on steel....

anyway you know where I'm goin with this

just shove him in, and zzzzhhhiiiing! probably won't even have to sharpen the blades after..... toss the "sawdust" into the drink for the crabs
