8"of Snow In 4 Hours

According to the local weather forecast,we're suppose to get 6to12 inches of snow today,up till 11:00 tonight.
Well,it's only been 4 hours(3:00 now) and there is already 10"on the ground.
What kind of math books did these guys learn from?

Time to go attack the first 10 inches..........but it's so warm in here!

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, maybe later?

Re: 8"of Snow In 4 Hours

It's great if you don't have to work in it.

Let's see,
Yesterday,2 hours prepping job site for upcoming storm.
Today,another hour to tarp off one side of the house so I could work;
slipping on ice beneath the snow all day.(left early so I could make it home)
Half-day tomorrow digging out job site to work.
ummm, tomorrows,Friday.I'll have to work over the weekend because another storm is coming in Sunday night.

yep,

I love the snow too!

Lost track at 10. I gotta say this 10 inches of snow is better than the 10 inches of mud we were playing in yesterday (were doing new construction right now) Its gonna be fun taking those poles off the roof with the snow I still gotta do this one weird wall on the back, thats gonna require poles on the roof also

Re: 8"of Snow In 4 Hours

There's about 8" already on the Canaan /Lakeville area. It is a nice light fluffy snow. It is beautiful.

This will put a big damper on cash flow.

Ya shoud a got that part done first.
A few winters back ,I had 3 dog-house dormers a little smaller than that one to do .Needless to say,as soon as I set them up,it snowed.
Don't figure.............

It looks like most of the sides with eaves are done,so you won't have to deal with any dripping later.
Usually got to jump up there and slide a piece of bent aluminum under the shingles to stay dry.

Usually one of the braver guys hops up and shovels or we put J channel all around the roof edge

Shaddappayouface!!!

Hey Oldfrt, you beat me to the punch. I was gonna take some pix and start a thread. We've got about 10" here. It's starting to slow down a little. I hustled this morning to finish framing my deck, then I rifled the rest of the material into the basement. At least it's light fluffy stuff, so I can just broom off the tops of the joists and not have to scrape ice off for an hour.

We have about 8" here, my wife claims more like 6". I would grab a measuring tape but they are all at my office.
