21 States Claiming Sovereignty, Oh No.....

found this on another forum, very interesting....
all i can say
WOLVERINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love that movie....

21 States Claiming Sovereignty

Within the past 7 days, eight other U.S. states have made similar declarations of their sovereignty!

Clearly something "big" is up. These types of actions by state legislatures rarely if ever take place, and I know of absolutely no time in US history when so many states made such declarations within such a short period of time.

WHAT IF......
The states disband the federal government; which is within their power to do via Constitutional Convention, then walk away from the entire $60 TRILLION U.S. National Debt?

They could tell the creditors to go collect the money from the people who borrowed it..... Oh, wait...... they no longer exist ..... too bad. Bye.

We could be witnessing the foundation of the biggest financial f__k-job in the history of the world as US states dissolve the federal government that borrowed all the money!

21 States Claiming Sovereignty: AZ, AL, AK, AR, CA, CO, GA, HI, ID, IN, KS, ME, MI, MO, MT, NH, NV, OK, PA, TX, & WA
http://www.mrstep.com/politics/az-wa...g-sovereignty/
Wow… it will be interesting to see how this turns out… it’s about time people started stepping up and speaking out. As people have pointed out in comments, all of these (except for HI) are explicit restatements of what has always been in place, but not necessarily enforced, as detailed by the 10th Amendment. HI is actually aiming for total sovereignty as it is claimed that HI was never really a state of the U.S. to begin with. However, I believe the intent of these bills is to let the federal government know that the states’ sovereignty will not be overwritten… say in case certain gun ban laws get passed… or other “War Time / Martial Law” type plans come into play. Google "1861-1864"
Or try "American Civil War"
Or maybe "War Between the States"
This issue has been settled.

It was in all the news papers.

I'm claiming sovereignty for my properties.

All in favor.

Mickey: YEA

All those opposed:

It's official, whereas this 17th day February 2008, Mickey will no longer be paying taxes, Woo Hoo! Where the heck is my free motor bike.

So Hawaii claims to never have been a state, so... That means Obama was born in a foreign country or us territory, therefore he CANNOT be pres.

Just a thought

There's a big sovereignty movement here. If it ever did happen, they would last about a day. Japan, Germany, S. Korea...would all be fighting for this place.

I thought Japan no longer had an army? I read that somewhere and never cared to investigate.

That's an intersting question. I haven't heard a thing about the Japanese Army past WWII. Just never looked it up either.

Have you ever read the book: "American Caeser"? The occupation of post WWII Japan headed up by MacArthur. Fascinating stuff.

No.

But I used to work at a pizza joint called Little Caesar. Many long years ago.

I thought as part of the surrender conditions, Japan could not have a military. Seems like a good thing. look at what you can achieve when you no longer have the need (or ability) to bomb the living **** out of anyone and everyone you don't agree with.

The military forces of Japan have had a number of different names over time. Prior to 1945, there were two separate services under the command of the Imperial General Headquarters:
These were both dissolved after World War II, and replaced after 1954 by the Japan Self-Defense Forces. These forces comprise:

First it was "minibikes banned by government", now this.

There is no great revolution about to take place. Just states way of flipping the bird to federal regs that overstepped the bounds of the 10th amendment.

The real question is---
and the one we should all be asking is

What do these states know and what is going on
that would have all these states need to further declare their sovereignty?

Japan and Germany can have a military. It is suppose to be defensive in nature only. They were not suppose to deploy outside their own borders until recently as they have changed their laws to allow this to help out in places in the world where they are needed.

This is why you don't see the Japanese Navy sinking those eco-terrorists Greenpeace when they attack their ships.

Re: 21 States Claiming Sovereignty, Oh No.....

I think it's been long enough that Japan and germany should be "allowed" to have a more active military. Of all the problems in the world and the various threats we face,..I think Japan and Germany getting any ideas of world domination are pretty far down the list. They could be bigger allies in some of these threats we face. Esp. in dealing with N. Korea for example. I don't know how Japan's military is numbers-wise, but you just know from a technology standpoint, they would be about as good as anything anywhere else.

This whole sovereignty thing is very interesting. Hard to say what it means.
Hard to believe we are on the verge yet of another secession from the union by states.
