From the looks of it those kids are definitely going to be electricians when they grow up!

I fell down a flight of stairs when I was 2 and have almost the exact same scar that kids going to have when that wound heals.

My two boys are both in the mid 20's. I get a big kick outta them talking about all there scars and broken bones,Black eyes, They say remember when ha ha ha. Little 's. I say yea I remember when I had to spend endless hours taking you dumb A$$s to the emergency room
But on the other hand I would't trade those memories for the world.
Man they grow up fast.
Can't wait tell it's there turn.

Re: 2 Yo Boys... Grrrr

Two words of advice from a father of an active 2yo and 10 mo...(and a 13yo)..

"CRIB TENT"
http://www.innovativedist.com/Catalo...&CategoryId=15

This is the best device to keep the little explorers from getting out in the middle of the night and having an accident just like you had with your boy. My oldest climbed out at 10 mo and we had a bear of a time for at least two years getting him to stay in his room. My 2yo was out at 14 mo, and a friend told of this thing. It worked the first time we put him in, and he didn't seem to mind it one bit. (ok..his body language said he was defeated - Dad 1 Kid 0, but no crying at all). When the little girl gets a bit older (1 yo) we plan to get another one for her.

Its the best money you will ever spend!

Good Luck and hope your little boy is feeling better and tougher!

My son would have that thing taken off in about 2 minutes flat.

He gets his crazy from me... but he also gets his smart from me.

Smart, crazy, or strong...I would bet my salary he would not. My kid's nickname is "BAMBAM"..and he is a big kid. There's not much he can't do physically for a little kid.

Its designed as an entire "shell", not just a lid. This thing is escape proof! (unless the kid brings a shank or a pen knife into bed with him!) Trust me. It works!

either way... he's in a toddler bed now.

And it wouldn't surprise me if he had a shank hidden under his pillow.

That was our cure withour kids too. We spend so much time and effort in society to protect our kids instead of teaching them that they are not growing up as innovative as the last generation.

I built a toybox for my granddaughter a couple of years ago...everyone pissed and moaned that it didn't have the stops to keep her fingers form being pinched......she'll be 3 in Jan and I don't think she has pinched her fingers (good) yet. She does however know how to lock it in the upright position so it doesn't fall on her fingers

They are resilient and will learn if we teach them.
