I learned from my grandfather at 12 and made good money at it until I got sick of it at 30. My advise is get a job with a firm that does painting and paper hanging. I hated to clean up after myself and I always hired someone to paste, clean, and wipe walls. Get a job like that and you will learn more being in the field than from a school. I always trained the best workers how to hang.

Not in Chicago, but the NGPP will be offering a boot camp type schooling in Niagara Falls in Sept.
