wallpaper!!!!

I took the wallpaper off of my hallway it was 3 layers thick.( I used diff and a paper tiger) In the process of this it looks like the a layer of drywall came off also..the wallpaper was directly applied to the drywall....not by me. So i sanded the walls as best as i could..and applied joint compund (to the entire wall)..but now the drywall is bubbling as the compound dries. Also in some spots..when I applied the joint compound parts of the drywall were coming off.......my dad suggested that i get a sealer or primer and put on the drywall....can someone please give me some advice!!!!

thanks

Also did you scrap the walls and sand the crap out of them before you applied the mud? If not you should have.

Yep, 747 led you astray. Should have used Gardz.
