wall paper on plywood

This is a first for me.

What is the best way to seal the joints in the plywood? I was thinking epoxy and mesh tape or is this an overkill? It's 54 inch vinyl.

If the plywood is tight and secure, I'd hang right over the seams.
If it isnt tight or secure, probably anything you put over the seams will pop. Heavy vinyl pulls pretty darn tight when drying.
I'd probably do a quick mesh tape/mud over them at least, see what happens.
