wall paper machine

I finally got my break and got something else besides a house, I have to do a whole entire Days Inn and i need a wall paper machine really bad, does any one know where i can get one. I 'm from Canada and here they are close to $7.000, little bit to much for something that looks way cheaper then a goods sprayer.

Look up Pastewell. http://www.pastewell.com/fullsets.html

I have one but I don't do much commercial. They are very primitive, but do the trick very well. The advantage is you can run straight paste through them, as opposed to the others that require you to thin it an awful lot. For about $1500 you get a whole set up. In a more economical version you can use just a paperhanging table and the $900 basic 57" model just fine. $500 more gets you the cart and booking table. You can probably make those yourself if you're handy.

I have had a 56" Advance for years and in general it has been good to me. Try a Sherwin William for them. Flex makes some nice thing and you can find them on the net with some hunting.

David Enterprises,

Any resemblance to you and the David Veith who lived in Universal City TX a few years back ?

If so, good to read you again

Sal,

Never mind the dates, you're new and you're making an observation as you are catching up to speed

I've heard good things about the Pastewell, especially for running straight clay.

Simple machines, simple to use, simple to maintain. I have even heard if a part breaks, you can get out your band saw and fabricate a new one - but that's only what I hear on the street, I have no personal experience with them

Thanks daArch for the kind response. I have both sizes of pastewell pasting machines. I am very pleased with the way they perform.

On another note can you tell me what the going rate for installing commercial wallcovering is?

Rate per square yard or rate per linear yard.

Thanks

Sal

Pasting Machine

Best pasting machine I have ever used is the PasteMate 62HD from Advance.
I have 3 of them! Very reliable. Go for around $2400.

Check out PaperTheWeb. Not sure how much to ship to Canada.

I have a commercial wallpaper paste machine for sale in NC. It has the original boards, counter and legs. It is in good shape and need to sell for a good price. No longer in the painting business and do not have a need for it. If anyone is interested please email at toneva6@aol.com. Please reference paste machine in the subject line so I will know it is not Spam.
