Recently Acquired A 57 Inch Paste Well Machine

I recently bought several items from a fellow painter that gave me a 57 inch Paste Well machine as he had no use for it any longer. Since I've never hung paper I don't know much about it. It is in near new condition with the matching stand that was designed for it. What kind of value does this have, and who might want one of these?

Re: Recently Acquired A 57 Inch Paste Well Machine

Wow! I had no idea. Anyone out there in need, my main concern is to have it help someone else in there business, since it was a part of a package of items I can certainly let it go at a great value to someone else. Things have a funny way of working out in the long run.

If anyone is looking for a Paint-well let me know.

Thanks GPI...hopefully we can find a good home for this.

A brand new pastewell will go for $800-$1200 tops with stand and counter included.
Only paste machines that sell for $1600-$2500 would be a geared machine such as Advance, Ramco, or Tapo.
A used pastewell would be worth maybe $600 in good condition.

Hi there from the Okanagan British Columbia.
Are you still selling your pastewell? We're looking to purchase hopefully here in BC. But might be interested to bring one across the boarder, where are you?

a "paste well" and a "paste machine" are two completely different devices, you need to post the manufacturer and model...most paste wells are made from wood and have less value though there is still use for them, i find on paper backed vinyl my seams lay down much better when using the well, but i have done away with the bulky heavy frame, had a welder make a piece so it fits right on top of my frame for my PM62

This isn't going to help you now but "Brand new" the 54" machines where only $750.00. I had mine up for $350.00 in EX condition for over a year, with no bites. Of course " Who works anymore"!!! lol

Re: Recently Acquired A 57 Inch Paste Well Machine

Daisy, the machine is still available, $350.00 cash and it's yours. It has a new counter and a couple other things. There's 2 sets of legs and enough 48" boards to set up 1 complete table. 2 or 3 dividers (if I remember right) so you can run 24/36" what ever, up to 54". I put hinges on the box it came packed in and that's what I'VE been hauling it around in for years.
you can reach me at 704-630-0083 from 10am to 6pm daily.
