Prepasted Wallper


Is it ok to use wallpaper paste on prepasted wallpaper?

Yes. Thin down some clear adhesive to use as an 'activator'.

Just to elaborate on what PWG says, test a little bit of the paper by wetting the back. If there seems to be a LOT of pre-paste on it, I would advise against adding more paste. This situation burned me recently

There is no consistency as to how much pre-paste is on a paper, even from the same manufacturer.

Some prepasteds need a full coating of additional paste, some need only to be wetted with a wet roller and NO additional paste.

Test first, please
