Getting Dried Caulk Off Wallpaper!

I have installed foil wallpaper and the trim finishers came and caulked around the tub and tile. They didn't clean the caulk off the wallpaper and I am not sure how to clean dried caulk off the paper without hurting or staining the foil paper. My problem is that the paper is cheap-I work for a fire restoration company (this is an insurance job) and it is not a high quality paper. HELP!

Re: Getting Dried Caulk Off Wallpaper!

Ow, best thing I could say is to dry rub the caulk off but... that could still peel the paper. Produde may have a tip or two but, i'd just tell you to use a dry finger, or a magic eraser.

Re: Getting Dried Caulk Off Wallpaper!

Caulk should come off of foil with a judicious fingernail.

Step 2 would be to ask the appliers to remove it, they should have been more careful. That may be step #1, if you can catch them.
