Commercial Wall Paper Removal

This restaurant was recently remoldled, nd the wall pper guy really messed but, not just poor workman ship but in place he wallpapered over an old outlet (I guess he thought no one would notice)
In many places the paper is rippleing on the edge.

My company is kinda of a handyman dealing with restaurants, Ive done some residental paper hanging, not this commercial stuff

At one location I saw the paper hangers reuse the paper (vinyl type)

My question their supplying the paper but should I try to re use?

What could have caused this so I dont repeat the same problem?

can I paitch the wall (hole 5x 7) max, and paper it the same night or is that rushing it?
thanks john

No. Odds are when you pull it back or down, you will stretch the vinyl somewhat, and it won't go back in place very well. Plus, make sure its been at least 30 days since the first hanger did the install before you try to remove any of it. The paste needs about 30 days to cure hard, so when you pull it, it will shear and break away from the wall, as compared to ripping the drywall to shreds if it isnt cured.

No clue, could be a number of things. Most likely, not enough paste at the edges.

Yeah, it can be patched. I assume its 5" x 7", not feet. Use hot mud, and make sure to keep the patch in the middle of the panel. You don't want the seam to end up on the patch. You know you need to bust the seams, right?
