tools storage

I was just wondering what everyone uses for tool storage? I use tool boxes and rubbermaid plastic bins. The bins are nice cause they hold alot but sometimes trying to find things in the bottom is a pain. Just wondering if someone has found a nice way to store all their finish carpentry tools or rough carpentry or anything else. I use a rubbermaid bin for my drywall tools but it gets messy real fast. I keep 2 screw guns, a router, saw, bits, knifes, taping tools, etc, etc, etc. It's nice to just load and unload one bin with all the tools in but usually have to empty the bin on job site to find one tool! But if seperate into tool boxes you would have to load unload 4 or so toolboxes. Anyone have a better solution of how they do it? Thanks for sharing any advice

An organization specialist I am not. But, I like to organize my tools by "trade" electrical tools in one box, plumber tools in another...etc. Then I have the stand-by bucket w/pockets. This is my go to bucket. It's easy to carry and convienent w/ the many pockets and holders. I don't think one can avoid the bottom clutter problem unless you are super organized.

I hope someone can knows something that we all can use.

I also organize tools by trade. most are in varying sizes of tool bags. I used to use the bucket organizer things, got too messy inside, could never find stuff that had worked its way to the bottom.
