Simple Tile Question.

I recently did a tile shower, Tumbled marble looking limestone. The tile was sealed/impregnator. How often does the tile need to be resealed? The HO asked me and I stood there looking stupid (which isn't that hard for me). I told them that I would get back to them instead of blow'n smoke up.
Here's a pic, maybe it will help. I know different types of tile need different treatment schedules and that use is a factor. A ballpark or general rule would be great. TIA

Sorry for the crappy pic

Re: Simple Tile Question.

Sage, what does the product you used recommend?

You aer going to here once a year as a response I'm sure. In reality nobody has to guess when to reseal. You can simply test the tile/grout and see if it needs it. For instance for grout you can put a drop of water on it, if the grout absorbs it, it's time to reseal.

By the way - me likey the shower!

Re: Simple Tile Question.

Thanks Mike, That's exactly what i needed. The bottle of sealer didn't say and neither did the web site. I was guessing something like once a year but I wanted to hear it from another pro. I will let them know about the little water test. Very much appreciated.
