Replacment Windows?
I don't know if this goes here but we are looking to replace about 14 windows in our home. they are anderson windows that are about 15 years old. they have wood grain that was only stained and the wood looks real bad even has some dry rot on it. The ones that face the west seem to be the worst. We are going to be residing and figured that would be a good time to do windows. What can I expect to pay (michigan) for decent window that measures on average about 3 feet by 5 feet we can live with viynil windows. the model windows we have are most likely not andersons top model. they only have a little latch at the top and slide up and down. We would like to get tilt in windows for cleaning this would help with the second story windows Especially. I know there are many choices for windows but would like to have a little educaiton before we decide. I am entering new water here. by the way I have one bid out for windows they are bringing it by tomorrow with the roof and siding bid they sell North star windows ever heard of those?

Re: Replacment Windows?
Are they double hung (narrowline) and is the exterior vinyl clad or painted wood?
I see that the interior is stained Joe Last edited by Multi-Tasker; 01-26-2008 at 03:16 PM. Reason: clarity |

Joe-- The OP doesn't belong here. That's why no one answered him. They are just looking for numbers to use to beat up other contractors.
