Redoing Kitchen Cabinets
I saw a guy on a job that just layed some 1/8" birth plywood right over all the flat surfaces on the cabinets, and replace all the doors to match the wood. jUst wondering if anybody else has done this .
Thanks, |

Re: Redoing Kitchen Cabinets
REFACING as its called is 20% of our business. the process is simple and lots of variables but basically 5mm ply w/ hardwood back is over cut then openings cleaned up w/ a laminate trimmer, glued and a few small pins. new doors/drawer fronts and new cabinet moldings. best part is the entire job is prefinished @ shop. average job less counters/mechanicals 4 days. average price 4500.00. measure skills are critical!
