Re: Plastic Shower Wall Materials

no problem. I'm just giving you a hard time back. Thank you for keeping up with the conversation though. I'm not perfect but with a little bit of help I can do some damn good projects. Thanks again for your input.

Re: Plastic Shower Wall Materials

A fiberglass shower surround is an inexpensive option and at least gives you some built in shelving.

I've heard good things about Maax utile surrounds. Quick to install but still pretty pricey.

Re: Plastic Shower Wall Materials

thank you. However, these are general made to fit. I am looking for a sheet good that can bet cut to size. full height of 96" too. "Ella" acrylic wall liners is pretty close to what I'm looking for. for some reason they have bends at the tops and sides (does not look like a flange). The next option could be "Swan" glue-up panels. I'm going to do some searching today.

Barker Board comes to mind but I'm not sure if it's still available. Check out Aqua Tile Board by DPI

I don't consider myself hypocritical at all in that respect. I did a few early on, before I knew better. I've done a few since, when the client absolutely insisted on it despite my best efforts to guide him to a more durable (albeit more expensive) solution.

My point was simply that it's not a solution most of us would go for if we want a rep for quality work.
