Open Season On My Work.

I thought I might share some photos of a kitchen/dining room/living room remodel that we completed recently. The pics are before and almost to completion. We did everything except the paint. Had no help from a designer this time (we usually do) so we had to go it alone.

TIA for any input

Anyway, fire away

All I can say is WOW, the choices in color are amazing, what are the cabinets made of?

Looking good, nothing like taking out walls to turn a pokey little cluttered kitchen into a space you want to live in. Nice work.

Very nice work! I like it!
I hate the choice of color on the walls though- but that's not your fault.

I must say that I agree with Melissa about that green. Maybe it's the photo but I'm not a fan of that colour at all.

The quality of your work is awesome Sage! I especially like the two-tiered island.

Nice job! And I don't lavish praise easily.

I'm not a 'green' type and working with ID's, the contrast is pretty stark but I assume that it was the HO's call. IMHO the cabinets would go better with any color except green.

Cabinets are maple with a cabernet glaze. Look beautiful but they scratch if you look at them the wrong way.

Thank you all for your input, nice to hear opinions from other craftsman.

I did not choose the colors, but to be honest I kinda liked them . I guess that's why 1) I usually work with an ID and 2) I'm not even allowed to pick colors for my own house.

Thanks again.

I don't think I could have been convinced to pick that color combination in a million years, but I have to say I think it looks great!

Keep the pics of the good work comming
