I've collected paint cans over the years...always cleaning them up to look new. I'll keep the large box of nails in the ship and refill the paint can occasionally-this is great for my needs (button caps, different roofing, 16's, 8's and so on).

regarding the 'throw it in there bucket', I've found, while sad as it may be to throw away money, that I am more content to sacrifice the missorted fasteners for the sake of speedily completing the job....and honestly, I never get around to sorting them.

I have 4, free to anyone who wants to pick them up...Mind you they are a couple years old and have a lifespan of 20 minutes.
