License Question

Hello
I just wanted to find out, what kind of license, do I need, for bathroom and/or kitchen remodeling. I'm working without the license for 3 years and have 4 guys who work for me. A month ago, I opened a corporation and want to be more legal and make more money. Any ideas and thoughts will be appreciated.

Thank you very much fellows
You are the best!

Re: License Question

It depends on where you are. Here you would need to be a CNS and need licensed electrical, plumbing, painting, tilers, drywallers on board.

Re: License Question

In California you need a license to take a piss.....

Yes, you do need a license- I don't recall the classification number for general contracting (which is what you're doing if your jobs are for more than three trades). You'll need to take a test, submit a lengthy application with financials prepared by an accountant, and post a bond. Call the local office of the State License Board for all of the requirements, and be prepared to wait around 6 months to get the process completed.
