Leveling Ceiling
Does anyone have any tips of leveling a ceiling.. i usualy just fasten the drywall to the ceiling after removing plaster in a smaller room and you cant notice the ceiling is not level.. but on a big room what do you guys do to level your ceiling?

Did you say you were going to remove the plaster and lath? If so then the fastest way would be to sister the joists where needed.

i ushally just drop the ceiling a little and use metal studs and run track around ceiling and use laser to level everything.

If it's not too bad, hang over, 3" screws, furring strips and shims work well. Be sure the screws hit the joist.
