Keeping It Dry
What's up everyone? New poster / experienced lurker on the site here...
I'm wondering if anyone has any good ideas about keeping a peculiar area dry while I do what I have to do. Home is brick and was built in the 80's. It has two separate bay window boxes that jut out with stationary windows for roofs. They leak like you-know-what. So I was hired to replace them with two small hip roofs. And I was trying to think of a way to attach a tarp or something to a mortar joint above this mess to keep it dry until it's completely dried in. The new roof has to be copper to satisfy HOA. Might just have to aim for a dry forecast and rush it. Thanks for any suggestions. C |

Re: Keeping It Dry
Just fasten a 1x or bar stop over the top of the tarp and into a horizontal masonry joint with TapCons. Then point up holes when done.
