I have to install counter tops "stone", lay tile in the bed rooms, put up an attic latter, install 10 lights that need to be wired up, 6 ac vents, put up a 35 ft gutter, and other small stuff. i need some one to do the counter tops. i have never done a stone counter top install so would i love to help if need be. The room sizes are 18x16ft and 11x9ft the counter tops are (1 and 2) 14-1/2x24, the "L" counter is 37-1/2x18 by 71x24, sink is 62x24. on the tile i was thinking 6.50 sf ..... $1787 for both rooms. but i want ur im puts i have a floor plan att. Thanks for any help.

Does the 6.50 sf include the materials or just labor? If just labor, it might be high... depending on what needs to be done to the existing floor. Check some of the other retail big box stores for their pricing and check out some of the private flooring places as well. I haven't seen those kinds of prices for labor down here yet... maybe in the $3.00 - $4.00 sf range... which I still think is high.... but if the customer likes your price, then go for it! I've also seen $0.99 sf pricing for some tile flooring too.
I can't help you on the stone counter tops. The other stuff you just need to figure out your time/materials and mark up for your O/P. I do have a couple of out-of-town guys living in one of my neighboring condos and I saw them doing a granite or faux countertop in the parking lot if you want me to put them in touch with you, PM me. They also do tile flooring. |

What type of stone counter? Are you doing just the install only? I Need for myself $400 a day to operate my business. If that helps.
