Galvanized Copper ABS CPVC

Okay I have never seen so many different kinds of plumbing in a 5x8 bathroom. I started tearing into this one thinking it would be an easy job. some body repiped this bathroom with CPVC at some point and ran it all on the out side of wall and left all the old galv valves behind(still sticking out of wall.I was going to remove the galve pipes and move the cpvc supplies into the wall.so i check the galv valves to amke sure they are not still running water...I cut them off with a swazall after I made a new run for the newer stuff and I turn the water back on....Well whoever repieped this house didnt bother to disconnect the galvanized even though every fixture has either copper or cpvc and I had water spewing out of the galvanized pipes...so i turn the water back off and think okay no biggy just remove the threaded section of pipe with my pipe wrench but there is zero acces even if i remove the drywall in the basement underneath I cant get to it just too tight for a monkee wrench and those suckers are rusted tight.
My question is does anybody know of a way to either thread a galvanized pipe while it is in the wall or do they make some kind of pressure cap for capping galv water pipe...I have to get this done quick cause my HO is moving in Friday morning and I cant wait on a plumber...unless I absolutely have to.
Any suggestions or ideas will be much appreciated..Oh I couldnt tell the galv was still live cause the pipe was full of deposits until i cut it off allmost to plate.

Plumber's tip #1. Do your homework before tearing into "unused" pipe.

Sorry man, doesn't seem to be any easy fix here.......other than to call that plumber and bend over.
