Floor Beam

I am curious what I would have to use, if possible at all, to replace a wooden beam in the floor of my house. I want to use a steel i-beam if possible. The span is 25' and I do not want to sacrifice strength. I simply want to have more head room where the beam is located....thanks. It is for a bungalow.

Your best bet would to be.... call a contractor.
