Dump Fees?

I'm just curious about what the different costs are for dumping construction debris in other areas.
Here in Southeast Georgia the costs are relatively cheap for a load hauled in on a trailer or truck, $14-16 a ton. 20 yd roll offs are $300-$350 + $1.00 a day rental.
I know that in South Jersey my brother paid 4-5 years ago $1000 a dumpster.

Re: Dump Fees?

$19 bucks a ton here in central PA. PA imports more trash than any other state in the union.

Re: Dump Fees?

That's Right... All those $1000 dumpsters my brother paid for in Mays Landing, NJ probably ended up at your $19 a ton landfill in Central PA!!
Oh to have those somewhat dubious connections to the refuse hauling industry in NJ....

Re: Dump Fees?

Usually around $30 a month for one port-a-jon, and that includes a weekly clean out.

1 port-a-jon per 10 guys.....

Our fees are higher for that. Porta John's are about 70 bucks a month per unit, and a handwashing station is about 45 bucks a month.

Re: Dump Fees?

Central Jersey here, - - it's about $56/ton if you take it to the dump, - - about $90/ton if it's dumpster 'overage'.

30 yard dumpster is about $600 (with a 4-ton limit).

Most of the shore towns (May's Landing??) have to pay more to haul it in-land . . .

You know what, you're right....I had a discount because it came with a 6' security fence.

Re: Dump Fees?

New England is pretty much the same as Tom R's area.

Bought a dump trailer a few years ago....Great investment.
If the cube van is in the shop, we can use it to pick up materials.
Drop it at a sight as a mini dumpster.
Signs on the side = free advertising.
We charge $350.00 to hall extra debris loads away...dependant on the load's weight, we can make $200.00 off a load.

Recommend one for those who have thought about it. Got mine used for cheap. Looks new.

Re: Dump Fees?

Our porta johns are 70 a month, and our 30 yard dumpsters are $245 with a $35 set-up, or dump fee. I feel better now having seen what some of you guys have to pay.

Ours used to be WAY cheaper a few years ago. They substantially increased the disposal rates that the septic guys pay to dump their trucks out and, as a result, our porta potty prices went way up. I'm thinking we only paid about 30-35 bucks a month 5 or 6 years ago. That price pretty much doubled.

Now then, call for an extra service (like if your potty gets blown over or tipped over) and they'll soak you for it. Like 50 bucks, thereabouts.

Hey, pretty much the same with me, - - I use my trailer (holds about 6 yards) the same way (only thing is mine don't dump).

But like you say, - - all around handy and free advo, too!!

We have a 5 or 6 yd dump trailer and its about $85 per load. I never pay attention to how much per ton or yard.

Re: Dump Fees?

$235 for a 15 YD dumpster straight up. And my dump does not base price upon weight... Just on volume so I can take my old truck with sides (8' long 6' wide 4' high) and usually fill to the top and dump for about $50-55

Re: Dump Fees?

Last year when i had the exterior all redone on my house and new roof. I paid for the dumpter in the driveway. It was a 40 yard and I can't remember the exact amount i paid but it was under 300 hundred. In the high 2's. Actually the guy who is way up at the garbage company lives about 5 houses down from me. So i just knocked on his door and said i need 40 yard in my drive way he said no problem i will have one of the boys take care of it first thing monday morning. Sounds like he might have cut me a deal from the prices you guys are posting.
