Don't Mind Me, I'm Trying To Post A Picture![]() This is more of an experiment than anything...I'm trying to post some pics of one of our crazy projects. Here's the scoop....the area we're working in won't allow demolition for historical purposes. It's very common to jack up a structure and add a new basement. The new foundation was 27" from the neighboring building! |

Re: Don't Mind Me, I'm Trying To Post A Picture
Attachment 5039
Attachment 5040 Everything about this home was wacked...we had to build in circles. A little here then, little there just to keep everything from falling in. We had a four man crew that did everything except masonry, elec, plumbing, drywall, and insulation.... Pretty much the only original part of this project is the 1x board sheething. The most difficult aspect of the renovation was working between our home and the neighbor's. Ladders and pump jacks were a pain in the a@#!! Like I said, this thread was more of an experiment on my part trying to post pics here. I'm not a computer whiz so this has been a fun challenge! I'm proud of this project for the complexity, and the finished product. Thanks for taking a look and the compliments! |

Looks good, the devil is in the details. Someone is going to need a bully goat to do the lawn care.....
