I spent 2 days in Sisseton,SD as a guest of Woodland, good training and nice people, very down to earth.
Service is very good, free 2020 kitchen design, they answer the phone when you call and do follow through if there is a problem.
Easy online orders, I fax my design and they check it for errors and make suggestions if they think I missed something.
Cabinets are very high quality and very custom friendly if you want to change them.
Finish has high solids and good sheen (equal to Omega) which cost more.
Factory is top notch and high tech, great distress and glazes.
Delivery is not always on time, shipping has resulted in some problems but they are pretty good about calling me about this.
All cabinets are well boxed and I've had no damage problems in 3 years.
Quality has been consistent. Good value line, not cheap but you can make money with Woodland.
Last, very good stewardship and recycle 100% of by products, so a smart company if you sell "Green" build practices.

I'm really glad to read your reponse. I've already ordered the selection center and as soon as I get off my a$$ I'll order some displays. free 2020? hmmm was it offered? your useing the feature where they assist with the layout? I noticed that would effect my multiplier.

Paul (SiverTree),
What other cabinets you're using? Is Woodland part of your high end offering?
I've been offering low to mid priced cabinets in the past. Mostly imported and not really amazed by my own projects just yet. That's why I'm looking for some alternatives. Currently, my kitchens average only about $10K.
Please give pointers to:
- cabinets used in low end projects (rental, old houses) sub $10K
- cabinets used in mid end projects (semi custom home, HO with more $$$), ranging $10K-$20K
- high end cabinets
(I might not be correct on the ranges. So pls feel free to adjust the #'s )
Thank you.

Woodland may come in for a 22 LF L-shaped kitchen at $9000, cabinets only.
Go to a Woodland custom box, lets say 27&1/2 " wide and the box is now 30% more money. Do that enough times and your price could jump 50% to $13,500 for those cabinets.
I don't sell anything at low end, my refacing average is $10,000 my market (Mpls) supports mid to luxory with our average kitchen around $30,000.
We have the imports too, but that's not what I try to sell, plus I don't buy products from China if I can help it. But I have seen the imports and they looked pretty good.
Other than that I work with a couple of custom guys. Woodland is a value to mid price offering and I don't offer anything less. Its enough work to get good at one line.

Haha, I do appologize for the double post. Didn't realize that.
Thank you for the tips. So Woodland is your main line pretty much, right?! Do you get shipped or dealing with local distributor?

No, I double posted, just too relaxed I guess.
I get my cabinets direct, I order by fax or email and can pay $150 extra for a jobsite delivery which is worth it, but they deliver by semi so not all city streets will allow this type delivery.
