Bath Fitter -

if it helps anyone ...

i just heard a commercial from Bath Fitter (evidently it is nationwide franchise?)

it was a quick commercial --- and it flashes to this one lady and she says :

"well, remodeling just wasn't in our budget"

speaks worlds ... keep that in mind next time you're qualifying someone ...

Not sure what you mean Dirt.

From what I have heard from customers and others is that it is quite expensive. Main draw is the time line offered, although I have yet to find someone who had the experience of their timeline being met. They always run into problems with mold, rot, or scheduling with the plumber or something.

Average sale is $3,500. Some people just want the $1600 Special, KWIM? That bath liner stuff will never compare to 'real' remodeling, KWIM?

I came out to estimate a bathroom remodel, and the HO was also considering one of those nasty shower "repairs".

I was sure to let her know that if there were any problems behind those loose tiles (always is), the surround system would only cover them up.

I also never followed up on the job, because I refuse to lower quality to meet a low price. It's not worth the reputation or the pride in one's workmanship.

, as we well know....there are always troubles behind those walls. The future of remodeling will be to correct the knuckle head cheap fixes of today.
