Basement Flooring Panels

Who is sold on these flooring panels that can be installed on concrete floors of basements? Every thing I have ever learned, in thirty years of construction tells me not to put wood on the floor of the basement....and now I am considering marketing this as a solution for comfort....Dricore is one, Delta has a similar product and a product with 1/2 inch of blue styrofoam is another option...this is a below grade installation.

Re: Basement Flooring Panels

The other option is to lay Platon down then 3/4" OSB over that.

The panels have OSB on them already. I would prefer them to be all non organicor made of a material that will not take on moisture.

The difference between using DRIcore and Platon, IMO, is that Platon can be impervious to moisture transmission from underneath when the seams are caulked properly. I used Platon on the last basement finsh job I did and caulked the seams- turned out really well.
