Question

Website Hosting Costs

For those of you with websites... how much do you pay in monthly hosting fees?

$36 a year.

Obviously I'm not dealing with much traffic, so my price is low.

Re: Website Hosting Costs

We pay $12 currently per mo. I think it's too much, but it's my bosses money.

When I was in the hosting game a few years back, I was trying to develope software that would allow my clients to be truly "utility based". The big boys like AT&T were investing millions in this idea. It's really a simple idea, I couldn't understand why they didn't have a working model within a month with their resources.

Anyways utility based means everything from storage size to bandwidth used number of domains etc... is tracked. Your monthly bill is formulated automatically by your useage. Afterall I think that's the best way to go.
