I am using vtiger for lead management and just wondering if anyone else has used it. If so, are you managing projects in it as well.

BTW, I chose vtiger b/c it is web based, free, and hosted on my server so I have total control.

yea, I worked for 5 years programming before moving from the cubicle to the job site. though I still find myself staring at computers a good deal of the time.

I have yet to crack open vtiger, haven't had a need too.

Are you just using vtiger for lead management only? I was wondering if vtiger can be used for project management...do you think its possible to customize vtiger for project management, accounting needs?

There are other similar platforms...most common is viewpoint which i am sure will prove expensive for small contractors

any opinion suggestions?

Vtiger customization does it need high level of programing or you can pretty much customize it to your needs?
