Trouble Printing PDF

A client emailed me a property survey a few weeks ago. It will not print on my laserjet printer. The pages just come out blank.

A few weeks ago i was able to print it on my ink jet printer. Now my ink jet printer won't print it either. I click print, my printer makes some noise and thats about it.

I really need to get this printed by tommorrow, any advice?

Matt

Re: Trouble Printing PDF

In PDF there is a Security Feature that will Not Allow documents to be changed or even printed.

You might be able to "Save " the document to your computer and convert it into a "Word" file or another format in order to Reprint it. Also you might Try "Print as Image" instead of "Document" from the Advanced Printing field.

Good Luck

ugh! NOT Kinkos! Better off with Staples. Kinkos should be called "we like to bend you over and charge you as much as we can"

another thing you might be able to try if there's a security thing is alt+print screen or just print screen then paste it in your photoshop or paint program.

Re: Trouble Printing PDF

If it printed before, it's not a security issue. I have Foxit Reader installed, it loads faster and gums up less than Adobe.

How about going to the library and printing it out?

Re: Trouble Printing PDF

Someone posted on here a month or so a PDF viewer that lets you print, it is free and will read the Adobe files.

This is copied from another forum board and I believe it may be what DougChips is refering to. I posted this about one month ago, but it is not my original post nor experience discussing the products.

Ed

Good morning all,

Here is a good free one that works better than Qute pdf (smaller files) did I mention that it's free!

http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator

I can highly recommend pdfcreator. I tried it on my 1 MB test file and it created a 293 MB file, whereas Acrobat came in at 325 MB. Everything else that I've tried to throw at it, it has handled successfully.
