Tile Design Software For Floor And Wall

What's a good software for tile design? I was going to go with 20-20, but it doesn't allow the ability to design custom tile design.

Graph paper, a rule, and sharp pencil.

AutoCad will let you do anything you can dream of and much more. The only problem is cad is a program that takes some time to use all the short cuts. There are I believe 2000 short cuts not including the ones you can reprogram. Download the free 30 day trail and have fun with it.

ok, i know a lot of you on here like to stick to hand drawing a lot of things. but the truth of the matter is most clients EXPECT sketches from a computer, and anything else is just considered unprofessional

I think. I have found that in some cases clients prefer the hand drawn watercolor as opposed to a computer sketch. Its really all in the presentation IMO. I personally know an artist who does some amazing work in just pencils & water colors. The computer whiz bang is nice for a guy who cant draw with a ruler (me) but I think that there is always a place for quality artists next to photo real. But 99% of my experience is in interiors and landscapes, not necessarily tile so i could be way off.

Just my 2 cents.
