If the site you're visiting is slow due to peak traffic or not enough servers, a faster connection won't help much.
In much the same way, driving a high performance truck doesn't get you to the job any faster if the traffic is gridlocked.

2700 upload verizon fios but here is the kicker - i'm 400' from the modem and through a secondary router... I know the computers plugged in by the main modem/router are at about 20,000 up and 4500 down |

When sweety suggested I allow the 9 yr old to "explore" the internet (play games online), I ran out and got her a pc of her own.
He plays with it...she stays away from mine, and I'm forever removing spyware, cleaning cookies/files and resetting firewall settings...she's forver groaning about how it's running slow again. She thought I was being selfish not wanting my pc used...she understands now. I'm mean. |
