Re: At&t Aircard And Router
Go to this website, you will find all the info you need there.
http://www.evdoinfo.com This is where I went when we looking at getting a air card to find out which models were better, about antenna's, etc. There are a couple ways you can do this. You can get a router for your air card (the card plugs into the router) or you can put the card in a computer and use the internet sharing software. You can also get a adapter so you can plus the card into a desktop. We got a PCI adapter to plug our card into the desktop computer we use in the motorhome at jobsites. Then I use ICS (internet connection sharing) with a switch to share the connection with the other computers. The only bad thing about using ICS is the computer with the card has to be on for the other computers to share the connection. With a router you just turn on any computer and go. |

Re: At&t Aircard And Router
The title in the link is EVDO, this is Sprint and Verizons implemented technology for data. AT&T uses HSDPA (3G) for its data. Try a search with GSM (voice) or HSDPA in the query.
