On-Screen Takeoff Software

Ok guys. Ive been thinking in purchasing the On-Screen Takeoff/Quick bid software. Well my company does primarily interior work, metal framing, drywall installation/finishing, and insulation. I'm looking for a software that facilitates project takeoffs and speeds up the bidding process, since the volume for work request is up.

I like the features that software provides. So my question is, how many of you guys use this software? If so, what is the average price tag? Is the software user friendly? I look forward towards your input!

Software that I'm considering:
oncenter.com

There is a post here about it. Alladin one of the members here did a thread about it and he likes it.

He also is in florida maybe you can call, email him for a review of the product. He seems to be a good fella

Re: On-Screen Takeoff Software

I've been using the full functioning trial version for a few days now. I'm pretty impressed with it. I would like to try it with QuickBid. Does anyone know what that combination costs for a single user? We are a commercial metal stud, drywall, acoustic contractor.

I have both and believe that Quick bid cost's around $3500.00 or so

The program is incredible.

Re: On-Screen Takeoff Software

Thanks Aladdin. $3000 for Takeoff and $3500 for Quickbid.
Thats a pretty hefty investment. I'll have to think about that one for a bit.
