RSS Feeds

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to do an rss feed? I have read a bunch about it and copied some code, which I stuck into my website, but it does not work very well. I don't even know what I'm supposed to call the file which IS the feed.

I downloaded a couple of rss readers, and Awasu can find the feed when I tell it to look, though it doesn't seem real positive it even is a feed - but eventually the info does pop up. But I really don't have a clue what I'm doing. I'm hoping to continue adding both videos and products to my website, and would like to do the feed thing for the people who know what that's all about.

Truthfully, I don't even know how to work the reader. I just keep poking buttons till something happens.

I would really appreciate any help if there are computer wizzards lurking.

Thanks,

jimc

Thanks Dayspring,

I found a link in one of the posts on one of those websites that almost has enought info in plain english to be able to do it. With that one and the other two I already had, hopefully I'll be able to figure it out.

Robert,

I poked the wrong button about 4 months ago and uploaded about half the contents of my entire computer to my website before I realized what was happening and pulled the plug on the computer.

It took me about 10 hours to get my website back running again, and most of the extra garbage removed from the server. There are so many duplicate files still in there, I still haven't figured out which ones to remove yet.

regards,

jimc
