Printer Issues

I'm sure all of us has tried at one time or anouther printing your own brochures, so maybe some one can help me here.

I have a HP all in one *printer, scaner, copier)
I try to print on a Business gloss paper, 1 side always prints great, the 2nd side seams to want to pull more than one sheet at a time.

(I'm running the copies off a file, not the copier (the colors always better)
Of course this only happens when I leave the room

any suggestion

Re: Printer Issues

It just doesn't work to print one side then put the stack back in to print the other side.

You have problems with static charge on the paper as well as problems resulting from the ink itself grabbing the next page.

Either use a printer with a duplexer or hand feed one sheet at a time on the second side.

Re: Printer Issues

You are wasting your time anyway. The ink will smear and smudge and look like crap (I'm talking about even after you think they are "dry"). Been there, done that.

Re: Printer Issues

You could try a cheap online print service like Vistaprint.com.

You can get 250 color 2-sided flyers made for $150. Check them out. They let you upload your document via an online tool. I think their turnaround is really quick.

I suppose $150 is more than it could cost you to print 500 sides on an HP with glossy paper... but I know they'll look a lot better. And, how much is your time worth?

No, I'm not affiliated with Vistaprint. I just know they've been around for a long time and have heard good things.

Wow, I just found these guys and they have even better prices and take Word DOC's if need be:
overnightprints.com/main.php?A=pricing

They give you 500 2-sided for $160!
