Printer Ink

Found a great price for aftermarket ink that I can't tell the difference between the name brand stuff.

4 cartridges, for my Brother laser printer, is 369.00 for Brother brand.

For the same volume of ink, the aftermarket was 88.00 for 4 cartridge. Again can't tell the difference whatsoever.

Re: Printer Ink

Was ready to order some, but surprisingly, their inkjet was more than the regular HP Cartridges you can get at the stores...

Here's where I think the printer companies screwed themselves... they dropped the prices on the printers to get you to buy them so you'd have to buy their ink at inflated prices, but then companies like the above popped up. So then it was you'll void the warranty if you don't use the manufacturer ink, but who cares about that as much anymore when they are so cheap...

Been noticing the actual printer prices inching back up over the past year...

Just gave them $175, same purchase at Staples would have been $360

Thanks for the link

I am sure it is, HP printer and Staples, not a consumer friendly combo

I also have a Brother laser printer. I don't remember how much the cartridges cost, but for a big one, it seems about the same as you were paying.

I'm curious to see how long the new ones last. They are cheaper, but do they have the same amount of toner?

Bingo. I used to buy off-brand and refilled cartridges and that's often the problem. I don't know about this company.

Re: Printer Ink

I got 6 color (inkjet) cartridges and 4 XL black cartridges for less than the price of an XL black OEM Epson cartridge. So far it's been good.

I did it with another company for a different printer and only 2 of the 10 worked for me. It was still cheaper, but frustrating.

And I hate that you have to fight the printer when it thinks the ink is low and then you are able to get another 100 pages out of the cartridge. Stupid flashing light.

Re: Printer Ink

I don't print a lot, and still seem to always need ink. It just disappears into thin air.

Even if it was half the amount, I'm still money up.
