The Otterbox For The Incredible Is Out

received the email today for the $35 Commuter series. Is that a good 'contractor' version (the commuter series)?

The defender series is a much better case. Both are nice but the defender is the one to have.

I have the defender for my iPhone and it is incredible. It covers so much and helps to add a little bulk which is nice with dusty hands.

Me too. However, I'm worried that the defendercase will make the Evo too big. It barely fits in my pocket now!

Re: The Otterbox For The Incredible Is Out

the droid X one should be out soon too. i'm hoping to have that phone soon. it's big but I don't plan on working with it on my hip all day. it'll be in the truck or other safe spot. it's going to be a sad day when the casio gzone type V(original) is gone. she's still going strong but all good things have to come to an end.

Re: The Otterbox For The Incredible Is Out

I checked out the X today and it's a great looking screen but physically larger than my Incredible and possibly too large to comfortable hang on my belt (I have a clip for it). great looking screen though-lots of territory!

Re: The Otterbox For The Incredible Is Out

The X would be ok for a business person in an office or salesman to wear all day on their hip. I wouldn't want to in the field I'm in. But I do want the phone for the size of the screen as I'll be using it for email/web during the day or when I'm away.
I might even pick on up this week as my billing cycle is coming up, that is the best day to upgrade phones on.

Re: The Otterbox For The Incredible Is Out

I have the Droidx and find it just the right size. I had the Droid when it came out last fall and just couldn't get used the screen size. I came from a Blackberry and that was my first touch screen phone.

I have it on my hip all day and my wife has one as well.

Re: The Otterbox For The Incredible Is Out

are you on working on jobsites with it on your hip all day i'd be worried about crushing it, breaking the screen. I guess when the otterbox comes out it'll be ok.

Re: The Otterbox For The Incredible Is Out

I've got the Defender for the Iphone 4. I always break my phones so I decided to go big with the case. It is a top notch case, but it barely fits in my side pocket of my shorts. haven't worn pant here in awhile so I don't know if it fits in them yet. It is going to be tough. I really don't want to be one of those guys who carries their phones on their hip. good case though through and through

Re: The Otterbox For The Incredible Is Out

I am finish carpenter turned homebuilder, I don't do much of the myself these days. I did take on a bath remodel and I gutted them myself. I took the phone off.

I have a screen protector that is very good and a phone clip that I bought at Verizon. I have seen the Otterbox for the iPhone and it looks very nice.
