New Palm Smart Phone

Anybody thinking of getting the new Palm smart phone when it comes out? Those of you that know about it, what do you think? I've been a loyal Palm device user for about ten years now. I currently use a Treo 680 and was planing on switching to a Blackberry. Just was getting tired of the outdated os, but then I saw the new touch-screen Palm! Don't know the release date yet, but I'm going to hold off on the Blackberry until I can check it out.....

I used a Treo 700 for years. I loved it, but I'm using Windows mobile now. I like it better now that I'm used to it.

I still have my treo. No phone service on it. It's my Scrabble machine.

I looked at Windows based Palms, but went with AT&T Tilt/Kaiser/8925.

I can't imagine ever buying another phone. This thing is awesome.

This might actually be the one I buy.. as long as my current library of Palm apps work with it, or will be upgraded to it..

Exactly my thoughts! That & my contact list..... The thought of manually typing in the info for each contact is enough for me to wait to check it out.

I have an 800W and previously a 700P.

WinMobile 6 is better than Palm OS, but it's still funky.

Not sure I love the hardware or the software.

The Palm Pre seems to have every bell and whistle that you could want on a phone right now..

They just have to get it out and unlocked so I can stick my SIM into it.

Blackberry Bold. No more touchscreens for me since my last phone broke.

I'm actually glad it broke. The new phone I got is amazing!
