New Cell Phone

Anyone ever use this phone? Heard anything good or bad about it?
It is some kind of mil spec build with a large speaker...that is important for me now with the new CA laws!

Re: New Cell Phone

Well, this phone may make some waves with contractors out there. It's waterproof...apparently for at least 10 minutes and can take long falls to the ground with no problems. I personally go through a phone maybe every 8 - 12 months before it's useless. This one appears to be the one for people in our line of work. I thought about going the PDA route, but I really just have no need for any of that. Have a look at what some tree humpers did to this phone!! Oh, mine will be here in a few days!

I've been looking into getting one myself. I trash phones pretty quick. This one seems pretty rugged. I had a Motorola V365 which is supposed to be rugged, not too rugged after I sat on it and broke the screen, and I'm only 190 or so lbs.

Re: New Cell Phone

speaking of phones, i will give a thumbs up for sprint's touch pro. great partial touchscreen phone with a flip out keypad which is nice although i'm ironically prefering the touch screen keypad using the stylus. anyways it performs great for checking email on the go and launching to websites. you can go to your own website to show off a product for example.

if you have an estimator spreadsheet, you can give figure out a quote on the go with mobile office.

i think it can be useful for some.

cheers.
