Microsoft Exchange

Does anyone run a windows mobile phone that syncs with their desktop outlook?? I have a exchange host provider that is god awful and looking to replace them with a new one.

Figure I'd try here researching other companies online to see if I can find any alternatives

Re: Microsoft Exchange

I sync my Palm with outlook but not over the air. Just using a cable. But it does sync through exchange. I've been through many many providers for my sites and I have to say Go Daddy is the most reliable one I have ever used. Never expected it to be. I tried 1&1 a few years back. Try a phone with a return policy like at Verizon.

Wow, what's up with 1and1? I've used them for 4 years with no real problems.

Can't log in with the computers

Customer service is god awful.

I have been down for 2 days now called in to find out what was happening and they had a ****ing attitude

Iphone works great. Everytime I plug it in the charger it downloads any changes to my Outlook address book. I have around two hundred contact in my Iphone and I have never used the phone to type a single word yet. And it works great with XP or Vista.

Re: Microsoft Exchange

My iPhone syncs with Microsoft Exchange Outlook, no problem, over the air. Get my emails immediately, calendar updates, contacts, the whole 9 yards. All I had to do to set that up in the phone was put in the web addy of the exchange server, my user name, and password. It's been fine ever since. Matter of fact, my phone gets my Outlook emails, new contacts, and calendar updates about 2 or 3 minutes before my desktop machine even does.

Re: Microsoft Exchange

I manage many accounts with 1and1 and have not had any problems (knocking on wood).
Are you using MS Exchange or their new 1and1 exchange service?

I would double check your configuration, to be sure.

Re: Microsoft Exchange

which version of windows mobile do you have? I know that version 5 has troubles with exchange server and they have a patch for it. Check out palm's website, I believe i saw a link to it there in mobile downloads.
