I had it for two years when I lived in ATLANTA.
The best thing since Sliced Bread.........As long as you enjoyed your Sliced Bread within the Operating Area and did not travel much.
Reliable. Simple. Well Maintained.

I don't have them, so I cannot vouch for the service itself, but I do know they've been opening up in every metro area now, and spreading further. I've also seen there advertising now for unlimited service that is about 1/4th the cost of everyone else. I was going to get one, but unfortunately I need the direct connect feature from Nextel for work.

If your business depends on instant communication, choose Verizon Wireless Push to Talk.

Nextel no longer monopolizes the concept.

Just because there's another cell provider that uses a PTT concept, it's of no use at all if you can't interact with anyone else.
what they (ATT/VZN/etc) should do is license the same common network, or find some other way to inter-operate together.

Yes "By 2010" they say. Should be completely compatible.
They are trying to phase it out completely.
