Mass Email

Anyone ever try any mass e-mail greetings to promote your biz.

I just thought maybe it had a turn around.

Just a thought, seems like it would make it easy to target a specific town, probably a lot of overspill, teens, renters, ect.

Any input or ideas?

Bob

Re: Mass Email

Would that not be considered spam?

Re: Mass Email

I'd be pretty turned off it I received it. Spam pisses me off to no end, and I generally try to avoid companies that send it.

Re: Mass Email

Never thought of mass-mailings, and probably wouldn't do it anyways.
Spam sucks.

But I have been toying with the idea of the quarterly newsletter for all past customers and designers and whatnot.

Maybe with a centerfold too.

Re: Mass Email

I have an opt in (real opt in, not spam) newsletter on my site. I send out letters about once a year currently but will be sending them out about once a quarter once I get some good employees to take a lod off my shoulders.

Unsolicited E-mail is spam. It's illegal. Spam is a shotgun approach. You send out as meany e-mails as you can hoping to land one or two people who might be interested.
